“The School Of Fish Who Went To School” is a fun book about a “school of parrot fish” who venture out to school and are forced to deal with the consequences of their decision as a team. This book teaches children the importance of teamwork to find solutions to problems.

This is the fourth children’s book written by Dr. Mary A. Flowers with a theme of “teamwork.” Her books are written for pre-K to third grade. “Max Goes To The Farm,” “The Boy Who Loved Cats” and “The Dog Who Wanted To Be A Hog” are also currently available wherever books are sold including Books-A-Million, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon. She also published “The Door of No Return,” a historical non-fiction about the slave house on Goree Island in Senegal (West Africa).

Dr. Flowers attended George Washington Carver High School (Montgomery, Alabama) where she graduated valedictorian in 1968 and Summa Cum Laude from Tuskegee University in 1972.
